Housing Families First is committed to ensuring that every family has a safe place to call home. Our mission is realized through three core service areas: Crisis Response, Community Housing, and Youth and Young Adult Housing. In FY2023, our programs assisted 666 individuals, and thousands more through our collaboration with the regional Homeless Connection Line. We recognize that shelter is a human need and that we must come together as a community to solve homelessness in the Richmond region.
As a member of the Greater Richmond Continuum of Care, we contribute to a compassionate network of homeless service providers striving to prevent, reduce, and end homelessness through coordinated efforts. In 2022, the CoC network served over 6,800 people, diverting over 3,000 from homelessness through the Homeless Connection Line. While we are proud to be part of this collective impact, we recognize the ongoing need and invite our community to join us in making a difference.
