“The bank took over his house and decided not to continue to rent the property. The bank gave a deadline for us to be out. After short stays with family and friends, we were completely out of options. Then we were referred to Building Neighbors Program Hilliard House on May 12, 2014. Hilliard House came at a time when I most needed it. I think that the time that it took to find us to get into a house, was really not that bad, it happened very quickly.”
